FAMILY FELLOWSHIP

Our church recognizes the power and potential of good Christian Family structures. But the problems and perils that modern families face are too many to count.

In the year 2004 a special ministry for families began with special focus on young and middle-aged couples. Since then the Family Fellowship of the ACA Church in Avadi has been playing a beneficial role in building families on the foundation of the Word of God.

On the 3rd Sundays of every month, families gather for a time of fellowship, prayer, worship and biblical teaching after the 2nd service. Interesting items such as games, group discussions, competitions and debates are conducted with focus on dealing with issues families face.

A special prayer fellowship is conducted on Wednesday evenings @7 pm for wives and on Fridays @ 8:30 pm for husbands. This gives an opportunity for husbands and wives to share their prayer needs and intercede for others needs as well.

An annual family retreat is organized every year for families in this fellowship accompanied by their children. Retreat spots are chosen in such a way that each family gets an individual room to stay. Special programs for children are arranged for the children simultaneously while the parents attend the conference.

Following the retreat, the families are taken for a sightseeing trip for a day to near by tourist destinations. In the past years, successful camps have been organized in Yercaud Hills, Ooty Hills, Kerala, Manali and Mysore.

You and your family are welcome to attend our monthly fellowship meeting on 3rd Sundays, right after the 2nd Service (Around 10:30 am) at the Impact Hope Centre Auditorium (Air-conditioned) – opposite the Church Campus. The meeting will be followed by Free Fellowship Lunch.
