About Us
Apostolic Christian Assembly church in Avadi was founded by Pastor A .Thomasraj under the prayerful leadership and guidance of (Late) Pastor G. Sundaram, the Founder of Apostolic Christian Assembly, in the year 1973. What began as a prayer fellowship under (Late) Bro. Jerome Thiyagarajan with a handful of believers, has grown today to many thousands.
Since its inception, the church has been a beacon of love and hope to countless families who have been benefitted by the healthy spiritual nourishment and loving fellowship available through its services and ministries.
This ministry began in a thatched shed and gradually grew in size and numbers with numerous extensions and renovations. A new piece of land in Melpakkam (4 kms from the present church building) in the outskirts of Avadi on the Poonamalee-Avadi High Road has been purchased by the church with a vision to build a large church in the future.
